jdawn00 asked: I have a 3.5 month old little girl and I am trying to lose some of the baby weight, but as we all know, it’s easier said than done with a little one. Especially a little one who don’t like to take naps. Is there anything quick & easy I can do to help lose weight while still taking care of her? I’ve lost 30 lbs since she was born, but would like to lose 10-15 more. Thoughts??

Start taking her on walks. This will be good for her to be out and she might even take a nap in the stroller, and it is great exercises for you. I know that last thing you want to do when you have a newborn but you could wake up in the morning a little earlier then she does and just do some workouts at home. Remember to start out slow, it took nine month to put the weight on. Congrats on losing 30 so far, that is great in 3 months.

Look into a mommy and me exercise class or video. It’s play for them and exercise for you, essentially using your baby as a weight.

Like a previous answerer said, take her on walks, & drink lots of water. Try to eat small, frequent meals, instead of 2-3 large ones day. It will speed up your metabolism. Substitute your bread, pasta, & rice for whole grain versions. Choose fat free milk, & try to keep your meals/snacks under 15 grams of fat apiece.
